FIRE IN THE WIRE: Amplified AM transmission.
FRONT DOOR: In the front or in front of you.
HAMMER LANE: Left lane of traffic.
HOME TWENTY: Home or dwelling of the person talking.
MEAT WAGON: Ambulance.
NODAMENE?: "Know what I mean?"
PLAIN WRAPPER: Term for unmarked police car.
RADIO CHECK: Call to see ifyour CB radio is working.
READIN' THE MAIL: Just listening - not actively talking.
ROGER: Means "yes" or "ok".
SAND BAGGIN': To listen in on a channel without talking.
SHOOT YOU IN THE TAIL PIPE: Police operating radar as you drive by (exit ramp).
TEN-TWENTY: Location.
TEN-THIRTY THREE: Emergency.
WALKED ON YA: Cross talk - transmission unintelligible.
YARD STICK: Name for mile marker on major highways.
